Rare Markings

These markings are difficult to pass to offspring.

Tiger

Tiger makes dark/black stripes across an Cainomen's Coat.

Stripes can fade into the color underneath it.
The Stripes can be thick or thin but no thicker than the paw of the Cainomen.
Cannot be blurry enough to be mistaken for brindle.
Cannot connect in a way that looks like Tabby.

Can be hard edged or textured.

Range

Suggested Max Range- Dark Grey
Suggested Min Range- Black
Can appear anywhere on the body. Though the stripes seem to lessen towards the feet.

Real Life Example

Leopard

Leopard makes dark "eye spots"/leopard spots evenly on the coat.

Spots can be no bigger than the cainomen's face.

(see below for example)
Spots can be organized or scattered.

(eg. african leopard vs. snow leopard)


Can be hard, textured or soft edged.

Range

Suggested Max Range- Dark Grey
Suggested Min Range- Black
Can appear anywhere on the body. Though the eye spots seem to lessen towards the feet.

Harlequin | Dalmatian

If Piebald is present, there’s a chance for it to get the Harlequin or Dalmatian modifier.

Must be white or close to white.

Harlequin has Medium-Large jagged patches with small holes in the Piebald.
Dalmatian is Small-Medium oval holes in the Piebald.


Can be hard edged or textured.

Range

Can appear anywhere on the body.

Vitiligo

Vitiligo creates splotches of white over parts of the Cainomen's Coat.

Must be white or very close to white.
Cannot look like Piebald.

Stars

Stars is a marking that creates small bright spots.

Can be a near white version of the base coat or a different color that is also near white.
You can make them glow. 
You can make constellations, but you cannot connect them with lines.
Should not look like 5 pointed stars or the like.

Can be hard, textured or soft edged.

Range

Can appear anywhere on the body.

Example

Merle

Merle acts similar to Piebald; It’s a lightening of the base coat with holes of different sizes so the base coat shows through.
Tweed Merle is like 2 merles on top of each other.

You can do either one.

Merle cannot be completely white.
Merle cannot show over points.


Can be hard or textured edged.

Range

Can appear anywhere on the body.
